The future of long-distance travel?
Everyone knows that flying is bad for the environment but ships aren’t exactly perfect either, in fact shipping has the same carbon footprint as aeroplanes (2%).
Japanese shipping company NYK are attempting to remedy this problem with the Super Eco Ship 2030. It uses sails, solar panels and fuel-cell technology to produce 69% less emissions.
