Wife-carrying

Originally from Finland, the sport is now played internationally in many countries from Australia, USA, UK,Sweden, Estonia and India.
The Sport involves carrying your ‘wife’ (who must weigh at least 49kg) over a distance of 253 metres across a series of obstacles including fences, rocks and a 1 metre deep water obstacle.
There is also a prize for the best costume.
