A human has a V02 max of 40 millileters of oxygen per kilo, per minute.
That means if you weigh 70 kg, every minute you take in 70*40= 2800ml

Siberian dogs can have a VO2 max of 240 mL/(kg·min).
So if a male husky weighs about 25 kg they are sucking in 6 litres of oxygen per minute
