Saudi Arabia imports camels from Australia (to eat)
Camels in Saudi Arabia have problems with disease so there aren’t enough of them and they aren’t good for eating. They are used mainly for racing and camel beauty pagents. To meet demand Camels are imported from Australia where there is a problem with overpopulation since camels were introduced 200 years ago.
